Similarly, when first time Foreigner visitors, plans to visit India, they prepare a list of their must visit destinations in which Taj Mahal was mostly included. It is indeed counted among wonders of the world. It is located in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh state. Majority of inter-national arrivals are done at IGI Airport of Delhi. After reaching Delhi, tourists, begins their India trip. Agra is well connected by road, from Delhi. Due to poor flight connectivity of Agra, tourists have to reach Agra, from different cities of India, either by road or by train. In today’s time, when everyone is in short of time, we feel the need to some fast mode of transportation and to fulfill this requirement, flight is considered as the best option. So here in Agra, it is a long pending demanding of local citizens and tourism fraternity but unfortunately, till now, it is not fulfilled.

Present Scenario

At present, tourists have to use train and road options only to reach Agra. Even after completing the Agra city tour, if they have planned to other surrounding tourist destinations like Gwalior, Jaipur, Lucknow etc. they have to rely on train and tourist cabs only. During winters, due to fog conditions, trains often gets delayed by 5-10 hrs which is unbearable for those tourists who comes to India with limited time with proper scheduled tour plan. Sudden delays in train, disturbs whole tour plan. Due to long distance, sometime taxi traveling is very inconvenient, especially for old-age visitors. Considering such problems, many tourists change their tour plans which means loss of possible tourism. It can be seen as a major hurdle in tourism and other industrial development of this whole region. In such conditions, Flight is best solution for those who have paying capacity and have tight schedule.
